Scandi hello: Stuffed Easter eggs, Swedish Eurovision and cake stealing

We hope you are enjoying the lovely sunshine as much as we are.

We Scandies love nothing more than stuffing little hollow cardboard egg shells with sweeties when Easter time comes around.  We’ll have the shells in stock early next week – and we’re already filling the shelves with Easter chocolates as we do every year: Marzipan eggs, almond eggs, Easter pick’n’mix – you name it, we probably have it http://smurl.name/m45q

Eurovision 2010:  Sweden

Phew, we finally got to Sweden.  Eurovision in Sweden is serious business.  Everyone’s got an opinion about it and as soon as Queen Carola opens her mouth to comment, everyone takes stock.  This year, we’re back to the yesteryears of ‘girl with guitar dressed in white singing folkie happy song about life’.  Song’s not too bad, though, everything considered http://smurl.name/7g4l - we may all be going to Sweden next year. 
Still, we just love this song from Finland and are rather sad it never won http://smurl.name/a9r3
